It makes it a lot more like shooting with your finger off the shelf
Booty BearFebruary 13, 2018
(This is from a Beginner to other Beginners) I was torn and I was gonna give a 3 but it's a simple tried and true idea. It makes it a lot more like shooting with your finger off the shelf..Not really but it does force you to practice rather than relying on too many gadgets at first before you even Because the rubber is flimsy and wants bend and drop your arrow. It's forces you to focus on form and not pull your bicep and get shaky. You really have to hold your form and focus on using your back muscles. I have a 50 # 62 inch Recurve with 30 inch arrows it can be hard at first. I shoot from about 15 to 17 feet away and for practice they are cheap and perfect. You will be tempted to buy something more sturdy but stiffer metal or hard plastic rest will tear up your vane over time. To acquire what you need just to get started It costs a pretty penny. You a finger tab or your fingers are dead. The AAE/ Cavalier Elite with SL is a top notch choice. You will be tempted to but a glove but they lack true protection. The tab is pricey but you will never need another one just fibracate old leather or get new leather flaps. You need an armguard don't ruin archery for yourself and bruise your arm too. You need arrows strong enough and long enough for your pull and a target that can take a hit. The little sack of hay looking one. Dick's has them for pretty cheap.Don't worry about broadheads, or any new fancy heads, a stabilizer, a laser, sights {useless for the moment), or scope, or the stringer silencer. I would spend the 12-20 bucks on a new 12 string Flemish Bow string. There are some awesome custom string makers out there.0Comment|Was this review helpful to you? I am satisfied with the product so far and will updated this ...

I have attached this rest to my Samick Sage 45 lb. Recurve and shoot 30 inch carbon shaft arrows with field tips. This rest held up against 1000+ shots so far with minimal wear. The biggest wear has been a groove that has been worked in the side of the rest from the friction of the arrows being shot. It comes with and extra adhesive pad in case the adhesive on the original pad wears off (I'm assuming). So far I have not need it yet. I am satisfied with the product so far and will updated this post with the wear of this rest as time passes.
Nice quite rest

Very nice rest it give a tighter group than shooting off the shelf and it keeps the bow shelf from getting damaged by the fletching. The big plus is the rest is silent with aluminum and carbon arrows.
Didn't work for me, but could for you

Surprised how soft and bendable this rest is. I've used other similar rests that were made of harder plastic and performed much better. The softness of this rest seemed to defeat the purpose of having an elevated rest. I took it off and continued to use my homemade version. It might work well for you, that's archery....try it or don't. Check out my homemade rest below😎
Durable and easy to install arrow rest.

Works well. Flung about 500 arrows over it and still holding up. May have to replace eventually. Have been using arrows with plastic vanes with this arrow rest. You can definitely see some wear and tear on the arrow rest, but it has not failed and still works.
