Far too inferior a product for such an upstanding company as Rol-Dri !

We bought these in March 2015, hung them indoors during winter months and probably used them maybe 10 times. The sponge is complete worn down to the metal holder on one side only, just completely "evaporated" i.e. turned to dust. This seems totally unacceptable given the reputation of Rol-Dri . Now we need to order a replacement but who else manufacturers these but Rol-Dri????
Helps dry Har Tru

It works but does not hold its round shape too well. Har Tru definitely dries out faster after use.

OK, this should be a pretty simple item. It's basically just a rolling sponge. How hard could it be to mess that up?

There are two major problems:
1) The sponge thickness varies. Due to what is apparently abysmal quality control, the sponge is visibly thicker in some areas and thinner in others.
2) The roller is bowed. There was no damage to the shipping box, but the roller has a bend to it. The result is that as it rotates, the middle of the roller goes from low to high and back to low.

The net (get it? net? tennis?) result of problems 1 and 2 is that as you try to use the roller it hops up and down and makes only intermittent contact with the ground. Even going very slowly with very firm pressure it is impossible to push or absorb water properly.

I included a very short video so you can see the roller in all its glory.
