Very disappointed. I have brought this brand of loader four different times in the past and they worked very well. Those loaders were for .38 Special and .357 Magnum. I bought the .44 speed loader and it holds four rounds but the fifth one falls out. The piece that holds the cartridge in the loader is looks slightly shorter, as it's hard to tell. The cartridges are all loose and shaky, not as tight as previous speed loaders. I don't know where these are built but the ones I already own were bought before everything got built in China. It's worthless so threw in the garbage and will not use HKS brand anymore.

After 30+ years on the market, still my go-to choice in speedloaders. Not the newest, whiz-bang, shiny-pretty-brightly-colored design out there, but still staunchly reliable, available in a VAST number of configurations, and quiet when carried in a pocket.

Does it's job. Holds 5 rounds of 44 magnum for my Taurus tracker. Would have given it 5 stars if it held the rounds more securely though, no matter what ammo I put in it, I felt as if the rounds were about to fall back out. Depending on the rim on the type of ammo I bought, some are more or less secure. But overall, it would have been nice if they had made the needle that catches the cartridge rim just a little longer

Works with my Charter Arms Bulldog .44 Special perfectly.
I doubt it will be of any real use since the Bulldog is designed for close defense and it is unlikely anyone could reload quickly enough to matter but it is cool to blast the target 15 times before any one else can reload the first time 😄

Fits taurus judge well

The CA 44 model fits the Taurus judge 45 colt just great! You can fit either shot shells or 45 colt shells and they line up with the cylinders perfect. I wish HKS would start putting this on the packaging.
