a very nice finish if your looking for that old border line rust look this is magic
Great results

I recently purchased a flintlock pistol kit and wanted to give it an authentic finish. This worked perfectly. I ended up doing seven cycles of browning the barrel and it turned out wonderfully. It's a deep, rich brown and looks like its straight out of a museum.
works as advertised.

works allright. got a coppery color at first. lid doesn't reseal after first opening... discovered this after accidentally acid etching my brass zippo, (lol) after solution dripped onto it and my hands even though the cap was securely closed... discovered a trail of bright lime green drop marks on the beige carpet a day after I walked through the living room with the bottle/jar. oops.
Great product

Easy to apply, leaving authentically looking browned patina in your firearm with ease.
No need

Didn't use it, requires serious heat, don't need it. Just soak in vinegar instead for an hour, gives a nice brown patina on the surface to protect from rust, without heat or chemicals.
