i put off adding this piece to my collection for years.it does not seem to photograph well.but when i recieved it i thought it was a very attractive piece.it is built a little heavier than a lot of other o.c.r. pieces. I am sure this thickness is because it's ovenprof ability.but for someone like me who uses my collection on occasion this is an attractive and useful addition to that collection.i like it.

It's beautiful and the pattern matches all the other Old Country Roses items I've purchased, but it does not have the same quality of China. It is oven safe so maybe it's intended to be thicker. Anyway, it's a great deal for the price I paid. It was on sale and I got free shipping.
