I've been looking for a mini whisk to scramble eggs and such . . . should have known one would be available from Amazon! Just do not enjoy real shopping so Amazon is a 'go to' for me. This is sturdier and a much better quality than expected. Fox Run offers any size from ex-large to tiny. I use these for mixing something every day. The hang loop gives multiple storage solutions. I use a wooden (folding type) rack for dish washing so I added a small cup hook for easy access.

I haven't had any problems described in some of the reviews (in use for four months) . . . no rust, no metal flecks and they haven't fallen apart! My son thought they were a fun addition to his bar implements. He hasn't had any problems either. Durable enough to fluff scramble 2 eggs for an omelet, mix powered milk and salad dressing. The product description does indicate that they are the same size and metal is listed as stainless steel. They are just what I needed!

A fun gift option for chef type friends/family!

These small whisks are ideal for mixing hot chocolate and similar drink mixes. They do get little rust spots after a while though.

When I first reviewed this I gave it just three stars and complained of the coil slipping. Now I own two and I LOVE this tool. It makes me sigh if I reach for one and they're BOTH in the dishwasher dirty. :( Yes, the coil slips around and I still feel that's a design flaw. However, this is just such a wonderful tool for sauces and scrambling eggs and so many things. It just makes life easier and works better than a fork because you can really get the bottom of the pan or bowl better with this whisk. I saw that someone had marked my review as helpful for this item when it still had three stars. I felt bad that someone might have passed up this gem because of my hasty review. So, since Amazon does not have a search feature for your reviews (grrrrr... -- if anybody knows of one, please tell me) I just spent the last fifteen minutes of my time as an act of pennace searching through years of reviews to find this review and write it the proper lofy one it deserves. And so now I have set this right.

Nigella set me onto this. I know the Barefoot Contessa says she doesn't buy gadgety things that only do one or two tasks and blah blah preachy blah. I love Ina, she rocks, but I bet she secretly has one of these hidden in her kitchen drawer, tucked waaaay back, out of sight and she secretly uses it all the time and LOVES it!!!! It's just really nice to have and I'm sure Ina would agree. Buy one for your mom and sister and bestie and Ina and anybody else you think might enjoy one.

This little tool is essential for making perfect scrambled eggs or a smooth sauce. This is the one you grab when you have a small quantity in the pan or bowl. I use several size whisks depending on the quantity and the task but nothing really substitutes for a basket whisk when you need it. I use it every time we have scrambled eggs

This isn't the easiest whisk to clean, but is by far the best whisk I've ever used. If you clean it right after you've used it, it's easy to clean, if not it's a pain. That pain is worth how awesome this whisk is. At some point I'll have to buy a new whisk. It'll be this one.
