Accurate and complete plans
Brad•June 14, 2017
These plans are accurate and complete. I used them to build a tree house, which turned out awesome. See pics. These are not a guide on how to read building plans. So if you don't know how to read plans and do basic angles, these won't teach you. Materials cost me around $500, but I used all pressure treated rather than the redwood. I also bought asphalt shingles rather than wood shingles. They weren't installed yet when these pics were taken. I'm including one with the kids to give you an idea of the size. The boys are average sized 5 and 7 year olds.
Thought is was going to be more like a instruction book

Thought is was going to be more like a instruction book. it is just a fold out poster with minimal instructions. not for the beginner or maybe even too much for a somewhat experienced builder. very disappointed. please put clear description for others.
but everything else he followed to the letter and it turned out amazing!! You will spend between $550 and $1000 ...

My husband used this to build our kids a "cabin". The only thing he adjusted from the plans was the height of the windows and the slope of the roof, but everything else he followed to the letter and it turned out amazing!! You will spend between $550 and $1000 on the wood needed so keep that in mind!
Beautiful..

Beautiful... but the lumber required is so pricey. We haven't built it yet, because its just too expensive to make.
made some adjustments

had to make some material adjustments otherwise it would have cost about 500 dollars to build.... plan was ease to follow and house came out very nice
