Turn your varible speed router table into a shapper for cheap

I am a shopsmith fan. Love them or hate them people are 50 50. Most people dont understand them. but the shaper is the only real issue for me one its over the table instead of under nd the big issue is top speed of 5600 rpm Unless you have the speed increaser that also puts under the table but is the only thing from Shopsmith that this dihard fan calls a piece of s*** it uses a friction plate instead of gears and wears out. tru disapointment. but the 2 and 3 hp routers are cheaper and cheaper I picked up a hitatchi 2.25 hp varible speed for $159 with this adapter I can run all my shaper cutters. set it on about 10 thousand Rpm In my router table a lot cheaper tha a new shaper. It works great very happy
