Good gouge for the price you'll have to do some work on the edge to make nice and sharp but other than that it's a good gouge.

exelent tool, very sharp.
I would buy this tool again , but expect to do some tuning to get it where you want.

Basically a decent gouge although not very sharp upon arrival , spent a good amount of time getting it into working condition. The ferrule on the butt of the handle was a pretty rough fit with a sharp edge that made it uncomfortable to use , after working on it with a file and Emory cloth it is much nicer to use.
Now works well as it should and without discomfort.
