Pretty good for practicing inhalation

Pretty good for practicing inhalation. It doesn't work nearly as well as the PowerLung though which also lets you train on exhalation. The advantage is that this is significantly cheaper. I found the mouthpiece to be a little uncomfortable.

Using one on and off for a year now (swimmer). Friend (swimmer) ordered one a couple months ago and I got another one for a friend (runner). Very effective the first 20-30 sessions then you can use it a few times a week for maintenance. I also use it as a chest cavity, pulmonary, warmup tool before training (5-6 hard breaths). Just make sure you clean it often, especially after you've been sick.

I've used one of these for years pretty faithfully. Nothing increases my breathing stamina better!

Absolutely love it. Utrabreathe has reduced my need for oxygen as I am learning to breathe deeply, my heart rate has gone down and my oxygen level has improved it is also very easy to clean. I recommend it for anyone with COPD.
