Just okay

Love hearts of palm but these just weren't my favorite. They had a bland and almost muddy taste.
Dissapointing

I should have read the reviews on these. I love hearts of palm. These are nasty. They have a chlorine taste.
wonderful addition to salads/asian food

fine product.. different but in a nice pleasant way..... neural in flavor but adds a delightful addition to salads and Asian recipes.
many hard pieces
Dr. SJanuary 10, 2014
I'm on a quest to find a good brand and these are not it. THey are better than others, but most of the pieces are really hard and woody.

UPDATE: DeLallo Whole hearts of palm are my go-to! B001M20UXC
This are from ECUADOR - which is NOT the good stuff - AVOID
WaterManOctober 12, 2013
I have been eating hearts of palm for many years. If they are cultivated or not does not make a big difference on taste, what makes a difference is where they come from -

Good stuff: Brazil, Venezuela, Guyana, Peru
BAD Stuff: Costa Rica and Ecuador.

Thorugh the years Roland has always sold the good , I don't know why they tried to fool their custoemers with this one....

AVOID this ones - if you are a lover of Hearts of Palm you will not like this.
