Beautiful wok, great size

Bought this wok to cook for my family of 5. It is a wonderful wok and performs beautifully. My only regret (and reason for 4 stars) is that it doesn't have a long handle. Trust me, this 16" wok is a hoss when it is full of food. Very difficult to maneuver with the little "ears" (not to mention how hot your hands get trying to hold onto it). All-in-all, I really like it and it cooks very well, but it is cumbersome without the benefit of a longer handle.

Seems well made and took seasoning well. Did have to work to remove the film coating. Has improved my results. A happy accident, works beautiful for cooking bacon bits and onion for quiche. The stirfry texture is more lively then a frypan.

it takes awhile to "season" this wok (as most do). the thought of not applying soap to clean a cooking pot is beyond me (especially chinese food which requires a lot of oil.) I have used this for about 1.5 months & wash out with soap & water then apply a thin coat of oil so it won't rust. soap takes the grease off & food particles and the oil keeps it ready for next use. i adopted 2 kids from china so i use it at least once a day. it is holding up very well at this point & i am very pleased with it. great price too compared to William Sonoma and other higher pricepoint brands.
