Poorly made.

On my first use, the wooden handle came out from the metal handle!! My son tried shoving it back in but it would keep falling out. He put in a toothpick and now it stays in!!
Good tool

Thank you nice size
Great spatula only after some work by the purchaser.

Great product once an inherent flaw is repaired! I like the hand-made rustic look. Previous complaints talked about the handle separating from the rest of the spatula. This problem has been rectified by the use of a copper pin through the handle to keep the wood in place.
The problem I had initially was that the bottom of the spatula had a sharp edge, and this edge would grab the wok. The spatula could NOT be used to move food around because it would simply stop by catching on the edge.
I fixed this problem using a wire wheel on a grinder. I was able to smooth down (slightly round) this sharp edge and now the spatula moves along smoothly in my 14 inch wok.
This spatula should last a very long time, and works well once the edge is taken off!
I also sanded the handle more smoothly and used mineral oil to finish it. Looks great and works well.

this is a regular size wok scooper. couldn't find the wide one on amazon so had to go to specialty restaurant supply to get what I wanted. the edge needs to be buffed so it doesn't scratch my wok but now I use wider and thicker scoopers that don't have that problem
