The first time I used this, I liked it. I felt like my hair was soft and smooth after the initial use. However, even after that first use, my hair was extremely tangled after washing the product out of my hair. I've used it 3 times since then, and each time my hair has been an absolute rat's nest after washing, and with each subsequent use, my hair has gotten dryer instead of more moisturized. I have thick, naturally curly, color treated hair, but I've never used a treatment/conditioner that has tangled my hair like this. Tangling is generally not a problem for me. But with this, I literally can not get a comb or brush through my hair.

The consistency of this treatment is like green slime. It's not creamy like a conditioner. It has a rather tacky, sticky feel to it. It doesn't spread through the hair very well. The smell was ok, and didn't bother me, but I wouldn't say I liked the smell either. It just wasn't offensive to me.

Overall, I would not recommend this product if you're wanting moisturization, which is why I purchased it.

Maybe this product worked for some people but it turned my natural 4C hair into a dry knotted mess. It had no positive benefits at all after using it. I love Burt's bees products but this is one I will never use again.

I hope they never stop making this stuff. It is heavens entry for my curly hair. I use it as intended as a pre-shampoo and then use Deva Curl No Poo and One condition. My curls stay beautifully shaped, hydrated and happy. The addition of the avocado butter to my routine has made all the difference. It smells great and is easy to use too. Gold in a tube!

I'm generally skeptical of hair and skin products claiming to add significant moisture. I've had good luck with Burt's Bees products in the past, though, so I thought I'd give this a try. I love it. It really does deliver. When I use it as directed, my dry (gray...sigh) hair is more manageable and feels silky. I often use a tiny bit of it as a styling aid as well. It smells good, too.

I plan to use this stuff regularly from now on.

I really wish there was a larger tube of this because I went through it in only three uses (I also have hair that goes down to my collar bones)!

I definitely noticed the difference in my hair after using this as my hair felt much softer than usual.

Even though it suggests it on the bottle, I don't think I would recommend using it as a styling product for your hair as the product can leave your hair tinged green even after letting it sit for awhile. Don't worry, the green rinses out easily!

I would definitely repurchase this!
