Give me a break anyone that doesn't like this table just can't be pleased. If you are only using a router less then 3 hp you don't need this table.I used the Makita 3 1/4 hp I had to remove the handles to secure it like i thought it needed, It's heavy but the more cast iron in a tool the less vibration you have. I have three of them with 3 big Delta shapers and 2 big powermatic shapers( I don't like changing bits) this table is my first choice when I need to edge something . I really like the sliding table it is a lot safer with small stock. Assemble isn't hard at all with a little common sense.I own several Grizzly tool and I'll rank them as good as most for basic woodworking and never had any problem with customer service
the table and slide are great but

Like a couple other guys said the fence flexes in the middle. This idea should have been junked. The sliding table works fine and you can clamp stuff well enough you don't need the fence but, for processes like jointing this fence is not going to work at all.
I had my table less than three weeks when I adapted a 32 inch Bench Dog fence to it.
Before that I tried to order another clamp assembly for the other end of the sled to make this thing work but Grizzly could not get this for me... not even through parts.
I had no trouble putting this thing together. Put it on two saw horses upside down and completely assemble it there. You should have no trouble. I have a screw driver named Dion ... (in honor of a guy who did NOT show up for work one day and I needed to square up a footer... found a screw driver laying on the ground and used it to hold the tape) Use the screw driver to line screw holes and hold pieces in place. Once you're done roll it off the saw horses onto its feet.
Mount the router before you roll it off the saw horses. I had no trouble mounting the a 800 series 2.5 horse Porter Cable.... very secure and stable.
As far as shipping it came very quickly and we slid it out of the truck into my pickup. The ears were bent on the center shelf but that didn't make a difference as they straighten back up with no problem.
I have yet to raise the table to adjust the router. Just slid the sled back and the router is right there.
My next table will be the bench dog with the cast iron but I would not trade this table because the sled really works and it's right there at table top height.
I don't care how experience of a wood worker you are if you can't make this work you're and idiot. But so is the guy who come up with the fence for the unit and that goes for the guy who let it(the fence)into production when it doesn't work.

MLCS has the right Improvements but not all!

The table works fine with as some mentioned with modifications. The only thing really missing is the channels on the sliding table should have been made to the stand miter gauge width.
The other item is the crappy so called powder coat finish over the paint which has now flaked off in large sheets from the lower table -- think it could have been little better finish for a $400 plus item.
Now folks if you go to the MLCS ( the router bit folks) site they have the same basic table with a few neat ideas added, particularly the table assist lifts which I am in the process of retro fitting this Grizzly --
Frankly for the same buck today I would go with the MLCS table.
Might add if your purchasing either one might want to consider 4 swivel locking rubber casters, makes life a lot easier moving or positioning the table and installing when assembling a new table is better than latter on.

Outstanding

Best router table setup out there for the money. I have made countless cabinet doors on this table with very little complaints. Just be prepared to throw the stock fence away and build your own. Also the table lift feature is not the best. It is easier just to drop the router out of the bottom to switch bits. Those are the only gripes, really i would recommend this router table to anyone.
