Background- I have used and installed tire chains since the 1980's. I have owned many sets of chains from the useless cable chains to the standard linked heavy duty chains.
Initial review: These chains were purchased for the front tires on my Kubota RTV 500. The tire size is 24x9.00-12. My concern about buying any chain besides fitment, is clearance. I was pleased to see that the gauge on these chains is not too thick, unlike my truck chains. Therefore they only stick out the side of the tire by about 1" or less. This helped clear my suspension and front brake components. I would assume that even they the chains are lighter gauge, the machine is also much much lighter than a road vehicle. The "V bars" seem really aggressive.
The true test will be how they work in snow and mud when they are really needed. I also just ordered a set for the rear tires. I will update this review after I have more data.

Worked very well. Used them on my Ranger for ice fishing on Lake Winnepeg and provided the necessary traction I required. Very simple to put on especially if you have a floor jack to raise the tires off the ground. Did not come off the tires after 3 hard days of running between 5-30mph. I would highly recommend getting a spring tension kit for these chains as there is some slack.

I bought V bar 2 link chains 8 years ago for one of my garden tractors and leave them on year round. They're still strong and only show a little wear. I bought these for another garden tractor to use in the winter. these are not as high a quality IMO. These chains were not as easy to fasten on and one side was longer than the other. they work though, I'm sure they will be more than adequate. I'm just spoiled on quality.

I use these chains on the rear tires of my Yamaha Grizzly 700 4X4 with stock 26 inch tires. I had to remove two cross chain rows since the overall length of the units were a little long. This was quite easy to do by bending the connectors holding the cross chains to the main chains on each side. The chains add a great deal of traction to the ATV, which really improves the plowing capability in all types of conditions, from deep snow to ice. The V-bar construction is very aggressive, so if you are using them on concrete or blacktop, expect some marks on your surface. For my gravel surface, these chains add exactly the traction I was looking for, and they seem to be well-constructed for years of service.

A little tip to assure a tight fit on tires: Deflate the tire before affixing them to the tire as tight as they can be, then re-inflate the tire.

I received these chains #1064355 for x-mas. They are excellent chains at a great price, however they were suppose to fit my 2010 Polaris sportsman 850 xp front tires size 26 x 8 x 14 but they are WAY too big. Thankfully they fit my rear tires size 26 x 11 x 14. Apparently their fitment chart is incorrect for this application, so be warned. These would actually be a 5 star if the size was correct to their fitment chart. I am trying to contact them to let them know, because I would still like to have the correct chains for my front tires.
