This bag looks great- and has a lot of compartments that can store various extra items.

Seems sturdy and is Gorgeous to look at. Haven't used yet but handle, wheels and clasps seem durable enough.

I bought the same bad 8 years ago and totally wore it out. Its been all over the world and the zippers were starting to wear out. Everyone looks at it at the baggage claim.....like damn this dude has style.....oh yeah.

I am writing this before I have actually travelled with it and put it "under stress", but, at first blush out of the box, it is a really handsome and seemingly well made and thought out bag. I am someone who doesn't want to buy something twice, and this bag I am purchasing to replace another (nylon) garment bag that served me for quite a few years, though it did not roll like this one. The bag is well made, areas where there will be stress or wear are well reinforced and sturdy. There are lots of extra pockets and storage areas for small items and might be able to be a stand alone bag for short business trips where you need a couple of suits and just a small amount of other clothing and personal items. It took me a minute to figure out where the handle emerged because it completely disappears when not in use (a nice feature, won't get caught on anything when you are shoving it in that overhead). The leather is soft and supple but thick and is reinforced in the corners. There is a detachable shoulder strap for those times when you need it that clips on and off and the points where it attached are well anchored, and not likely to fail (exactly what happened to my last bag). The bag on its own is not light, but neither is it ungainly. The weight is justified by the quality of the construction and the rolling hardware and handle. So far, I am quite pleased with the bag. Lets hope it lasts as long as I need it to.
