We stumbled upon this in an Asian grocery and enjoyed it for years before they went out of business. What followed was trying other brands of Hoisin Sauce which were too sweet and lacking a distinctive flavor. We were also less happy with the liquid form many other brands would take. This is more thick and like a paste than other brands (in a good way). We're happy to find this on Amazon so we can enjoy our dumpling and eggrolls again.

Love this stuff. On eggrolls or anything asian and suddenly your in you favorite chinese restaurant - or better yet, traveling somewhere near The Great Wall! I'm so addicted to this stuff. It's delicious and goes great with Moo-Shoo anything! If you're a chinese food lover, you know this sauce is a MUST. Settle for nothing less. Love this stuff. Sweet, salty and tangy.
