Wow, this stuff is great. I have tried lots of brands, but this by far providers the most relief. It has intense heat. The smell is also more mild than the other brands. I recommend this for all sore muscles joints. This provides heat only and loosens muscles. I mostly used on my lower back, but have also used it on a tight calf muscle and I recently hurt my shoulder. It has worked on all these injuries. If you are looking for a cooling effect, this does not provide the cooling.

I can tell you there right when they say be careful where you put this because it burns. Seem to help my aching ankles and feet.

Greasy. That was a problem. Not hot enough for me. Sorry, found it too nasty to use. Switched to Salonpas patches and gel, now that was hot and helpful. I get muscle spasms, feels like my back is being grabbed and twisted. Why we don't know. Tried magnesium, D3, and more

Oh my gosh this smells to high heaven. After one use I smelled like a walking talking wintergreen lifesaver. The scent was so obnoxious that it gave me a migraine. It is very hot on the skin, but that wasn't the problem. It was the scent. Only buy if you want to smell like an obnoxiously strong mint candy.

This stuff is hot but a life saver. I let a friend use it and now he won't give it back. I would purchase again. It's worth the money.
