Worth the money

I had one that we lost in a fire and although this one is a little different it is still fantastic. I am very glad I ordered it and it arrived in perfect shape. I look forward to using it for years to come.

These are beautifully crafted, but the packing was TERRIBLE. The item arrived broken and several other loose pieces broke after we set it up. The glue used was very cheap and didn't hold well. I would fix one piece and another would fall off. Also, the holes drilled through the hands of the characters holding staffs were not big enough or pointed in the proper direction to make it easy to push through. One of them is completely crooked. If they spent a few more minutes trying to pack it properly, and upgraded the glue they use, it would be a much better product.

Poor packaging. I have ordered and returned two of these nativity sets. Both sets looked ok (design and detail), but the stable for both sets arrived broken in half. Very disappointing given the price.
Disappointing Quality

There were 1/4 inch divots in the neck and back of two figures. The finish coat was poorly applied, left bubbles of finish on the figures. The manger had an angel cut out of the back rather than the solid shown. The manger actually broken, it was split in two pieces with a crack along the back. The animals were disfigured and looked like they had been sanded down to far on a dramatic angle at the base. I returned this for a full refund.

The product itself is wonderful. I bought it because it looked like and in fact is from the same outfit in Bethlehem where I got a creche when I was in Israel years ago. BUT the packaging is terrible. When I got through the two layers of box and all the wadded up paper, I found the figures just tossed together. It's a wonder they aren't all broken! so great product but bad package. Two parts of the "building" were unglued and could easily have broken the delicate figures of the people.
