I bought this for my DeWalt bench grinder. It's great. The top tube is tapered so you just have to slowly unscrew the handle to lower it to the height you need. Reversing the process requires you to hold the grinder with one hand while tightening the handle. No biggie for me, but if you're lacking the strength, you may need a second set of hands to help. The feet have good grip on a typical cement garage floor and the adjustments prevent any wobbling. It was very easy to assemble and secure the grinder to the top.

The stand is sturdy. I feel the picture is misleading. The "crank" which I thought was to move the height up and down, is not. It's a lock down bolt. Very misleading. Although it is sturdy.
Light, Stable Quality Grinder Stand

Was very surprised with this thing. Its pretty light compared to other heavy grinder stands out there, yet still very stable. I've only used it for my buffer motor with a fair amount of pushing on it, but it held up fine. The adjustable height and feet are a very useful feature for the awkward angles you work at sometimes. It's easy to move around even with a medium sized grinder attached. Curious to see how it holds up over time, but I'm confident it'll do just fine.
May well be used for more than one tool.......

This grinder stand meets my requirements and is sturdy. I had no problems with the assembly. Anyone with moderate mechanical skill will be able to assemble this stand without directions. I am going to add lock nuts to the leveling feet to prevent vibrations affecting the level during tool operation. Since I have just put this stand together today, I am giving it a 4 star rating for no leveling feet lock nuts and no historical use experience. If this stand performs well, I will be ordering additional top plates for an array of tools used in my home shop. I'd rather use shelf space than floor space. I am looking forward to use of this stand.
