Exceeded my expectations for value, performance, quality of construction, utility, and durability.
Easy on/off, but ZERO magazine retention
David Bachman✓ Verified PurchaseAugust 11, 2016
Fits my Glock 40 MOS and Glock 21 magazines nicely, but there is basically ZERO retention. The mags do not click into place, and the little tabs that they have inside of the holster to provide friction retention are made of plastic and do absolutely NOTHING to hold the magazines in. You can't even turn this thing more than halfway upside-down before the mags just fall right out. Might be good for the range or wherever you expect to NEVER need to depend upon this thing to keep your mags in place (y'know, like any situation where you know you won't be in a physical struggle or doing anything physically active), but otherwise ... meh.

On the bright side, the paddle itself does sit nicely on the waistline and allows for easy on/off while remaining securely in place. If only it held the magazines in place as securely as the paddle holds the whole thing on my waistline...
Ok, not great

Bought this for my FNX45 after reading other reviews that said it fit. There's a little wiggle room at the top for side to side movement but not bad. The biggest problem is that one side isn't as tight. If I hold it upside down, one mag slides out. It's fairly comfortable and will do for range shooting but I don't what will happen in a more active environment
Very uncomfortable to me

It took only one day to find out this won't work. The paddle is deep (long) and if this is carried forward of the 3 or 9 o'clock position it digs into the thigh when squatting, kneeling or even in some seated positions. The holder rides tight, pushing the magazines toward your body, which is great for concealment, except that they can dig into your side. I'm 6' 00" and 210 lbs, on the muscular side, but no longer have that full six pack. I'm by no means overweight and this carrier would gouge me during basic movement. I also tried a GoZier Tactical magazine holster (off Amazon) and found this to work where the Fobus failed. I've used Fobus holsters in the past and have liked them, but this Mag Pouch just didn't work for me.

Retention of both G22 .40 and G19 9mm mags was adequate. I felt it was just on the loose side, but the mags held inside when the pouch was turned upside down and gently shaken.
Great Fobus magazine pouch

I love this item. It matches my Fobus paddle holster for my Glock and my Ruger. Be warned though, if you leave the magazines in them in a hot car or glove compartment they will get to where they won't hold retention. Putting them in the heat without a magazine in them might fix this. I'll check it out and see. Plastic always shrinks and never expands. You can stretch it. However just heating and cooling it causes shrinking.

It is a comfortable fitting pouch, ...but not so much on long drives. I'd buy another one. It beats cramming them in my pocket.
