Does it work...

Not a great product but does its job. I am not pro so don't know much tech details but it did help me doing my project - media center cabinet. I did lot of googling before buying this gun, this product has mix reviews and hence decided to take chance.
To use this product successfully, you have to be patient, break for at least 10 seconds between nails, and if you are nailing hard wood apply force from the back. It's easy to clear jam with this device so I was okay with jamming occasionally too...
And don't get shocked if it dies after one or two small projects

Good but not Perfect

Before purchasing this i mulled the choice between electric and pneumatic nailers. I chose the electric because of the major price saving. It worked great on soft woods: I installed skirting boards around the house without any jamming and without problems. The convenience of just being able to plug it into the nearest outlet was huge.
However, when i used it on oak trim - five eighths thick, i found the inch and a quarter brads would not go all the way through; the head stuck out. 1 inch brads worked better but a couple of heads still poked up.
All in all i think it's a great tool for the weekend warrior but it does lack some of the power of a pneumatic nailer.

Absolutely great

For those who think there is a problem with this, REMEMBER it means what it says about the amps. I made my own 12 ga extensions for use with a generator and I strongly urge you to use nothing less then 14 ga as long as it is short. Also, if your house wiring is old or there are a lot of things on the circuit you use this nailer on, you will probably have problems with it not driving the nail all the way in. Don't blame the nailer, IT IS ALL ABOUT POWER.
Affordable Light-duty option for inserting up to 1 1/4" brads into softer wood

Works as advertised. On highest settings, buried 1 1/4" brads into a poplar face frame on a birch plywood cabinet. To get the brads to bury completely, I had to put significant pressure on the tip, but nothing too outrageous. Instructions say to wait three seconds between nails, which I did. Not for rapid insertion of long brads into hard wood, but for what I needed it to do (8 brads into a face frame) it was perfect. It likely would not have worked with a harder wood and the full 1 1/4" brads, but I don't expect too much from a $70 corded electric nailer.
I also intend to use it to mount beadboard and 1/2 trim pieces, and expect no issues with using shorter brads through MDF. I expect I'll actually have to turn the power down a bit to prevent it from pushing the brads all the way through the beadboard, which is only 3/16" thick.
In general, it's a well-built, affordable option for someone who needs a light-duty nailer still capable of handling longer brads in certain situations. The cord is a minor nuisance, and you need a good extension cord to ensure full power to the unit, but it's far more affordable than getting an 18V wireless nailer (even if you already have the battery). Pneumatic nailers would definitely have more power, and if you've already got an air compressor, that's an option, but for light-duty weekend-warrior type work, this nailer is perfect.

Satisfactory so far

Satisfactory so far. It has jammed a couple of times, and it has a little less power than the Craftsman it replaced. (The Craftsman was over twenty-five years old before it malfunctioned. Time will tell if this machine is as rugged as the one it replaced.) I do make sure that I use at least a size 16 extension cord and larger if practical "” mostly a 9-foot-long size 12.
