This pie crust is delicious! I used it to make a pecan pie for my sister who is gluten intolerant. Everyone else in the family wanted to try it and couldn't get enough. I promised to make another, but couldn't find the pie crust locally. I am very happy to have found it on Amazon.
This is NOT like a traditional pie crust. If I had to pick something to compare it to, I guess I would chose a graham cracker crust. But, it is much better.
Yes, it is thick and you have to kinda mold it into the pie pan, but the taste is worth it. It has a bit of cinnamon in it, so that may help you choose which filling you'd like to put in this.Anyway, definitely worth giving a try.
Best flavored flakey gluten free pie crust ever!

I have used this pie crust mix for years and it is the best. It has a great almond flavor and is easy to make. Because it is gluten free it takes some different handling. What I find works best is to use waxed paper and put the flattened round dough on two of them overlapping and then two more overlapping on top. Use a rolling pin and roll from center out to edges evenly all around then when it is a few inches larger than what you want gently peel off the waxed paper from the top. Then put your hands under the lower waxed paper sheets and put the pie plate on top of that then flip them and gently peel off the waxed paper. Remember that without gluten it will tend to fall apart unless you use this method or something similar. I love eating this pie crust raw and so does everyone in my family. I am always asked to make pumpkin pie for the holiday dinners with this crust.
