I am SO AMAZED!

I just received this in the mail today and I honestly could not wait to try cooking with this "beef." I didn't follow the instructions to rehydrate it. I just soaked the strips in a bowl for an hour, and when I was ready to cook I just used it as if it was real meat.

Alone, these don't have much flavor. I'm blown away by the texture though. The texture is like real meat. The "beef" really absorbs the flavor of whatever sauce you use to cook, so make sure you season your food for this to taste good. I just made a quick stir fry with a side of brown rice, and it turned out better than expected. I honestly feel like if I served this to a vegan, they would FREAK OUT because it's so misleading.

This came with 2 large bags and this will probably last me a long time. For the price, this was worth every penny. I'm looking forward to trying more recipes already!

I love this product! The texture is almost identical to beef! I made philly cheese steak with it to wrap in tortillas & it was delish! Very versatile vegan ingredient to experiment with!

Realistic appearance and texture. A non-veg may not be fooled, but a veg would likely be satisfied. The flavor is very mild, as it's meant to absorb flavor from whatever it's cooked with.

Love these for soups and stir fry dishes. Not sure what the difference is between these and the chicken ones. They have no taste and just absorb whatever flavor you add to them. We are all plant-based and these are a nice protein source.

been using this for years. I travel for my job so I can take it along without worrying about ice. Just use a microwave to rehydrate when you get to your room.
