A dork got lost immediately which made it pretty useless. I am disappointed with brides products after this and the cement mixer had parts that are so easy to fall off or break. Won't ever buy bruder again unless it's on clearance

This fork truck is super cute and functional. My 4 year old loves that it has all the same movements of a real fork truck. The Bruder company has replacement parts on their website for inexpensive and free shipping. One of the forks broke at daycare the other day when he brought it there and I just went to the Bruder website and ordered new ones. We love this toy.
but due to the fragile nature of some parts of the trucks I would not recommend it for a younger truck fan

My 5 yr old loves how realistic this forklift is! It's been put to a lot of use, but due to the fragile nature of some parts of the trucks I would not recommend it for a younger truck fan. I believe that replacement forks are available, but keep in mind that if this is accidentally stepped on or played with too roughly it could break easily compared to other trucks. I don't mean to say the truck is poorly constructed, it's just the nature of a toy that is made to be used realistically.
This is a remarkably realistic toy and lots of fun for my grandson until one of the forks broke ...

This is a remarkably realistic toy and lots of fun for my grandson until one of the forks broke in less than 6 months. I bought another brand to replace this broken truck. I wouldn't purchase it again.

I bought this for my 2.5 year old son and he was so excited! I love the Bruder toys, and have yet to purchase a low-quality one. They are very detailed, and the forklift moves like a real one. My only advice would be to have stoppers on the ends of the forks so they don't slide completely off. We have to keep track of them constantly as my son likes to pull them off!
