No Twist Ties

I don't understand how the seller thinks ppl should close these bread bags. Get on board and include ties with the purchase.
These bags are completely useless for homemade bread
Moonchild•July 29, 2016
I received two packages of bags without ties. The bags measure exactly 12 inches by 5 inches, and are totally flat (no gusset or expansion possible). There are, strangely, two holes punched in the bottom of each bag. These bags are completely useless for homemade bread. I might be able to fit one hot dog roll in each bag, except for the holes punched in them, which would defeat the purpose of putting the roll in the bag to keep it fresh. Disappointed to the max. This product does not match the description at all. Good luck!!!
How many ways WRONG???

Would rate 0 stars if allowed. 1) Seller note says "you will get 75 of these"...only 50. 2) these are only 5" X 12" and NO gusset. 3) There are two sets of HOLES in each bag, presumably punched to thread a tie through...but holes are in the CLOSED end of the bag.
Good grief...returning.

Not bad, not great

The price for the pack of 50 bags was the initial reason for this purchase, however after receiving them, the bags were a lot thinner than expected (along the lines of a fold-over sandwich bag). The bags were used to gift wrap sweet and savory loaves of bread for a holiday bake-off, and although they held up well to packaging without any rips or tears, the feedback from the bakers who used them felt they would not do a good job of preserving freshness - some bakers opted to double up the bags for this reason.
Overall, they are quite generous in size (we actually had to trim some down), are inexpensive and would be good for packaging/gift-wrapping food items that will have a quick turn-over (ie: budget party favors, bake sales, popcorn, cotton candy etc). If you are looking for a high quality bag, and/or to make an upscale presentation, this is not it.

Not for a full size loaf!

I was extremely disappointed in these bags. I bought these for my Dad who bakes 4 loafs of sourdough bread ever other week. These bags were not nearly large enough for a full size loaf of bread. Unfortunately, I had to mail these to my Dad in another state and by the time he got them back to me, it was too late to return. These are totally useless.
