This is a turtle mainstay for a lot of people, and it served me well over the years until I found higher quality food for my little guys. My main complaint about it is the waste-- this has a lot of "filler" stuff and turtles are messier with it as a result, kicking it apart and reluctantly eating it, leaving the water quality disgusting and the filters overworked. I tried Mazuri and they ate that much more readily, with barely any particles spit back out. Then I finally "shelled out" (wamp wamp) the money for Rangen and wow, turtle feeding frenzy! Now they are spoiled and get those pellets with earthworms now and again. I probably won't be going back to this unless they improve the ingredients list, but I'm glad I had these available as a convenient staple food when I started off breeding turtles.

Damian is about 18 years old. We call the mean, evil turtle because he's always angry; not a happy easy-going camper! He was raised on these pellets and still enjoys them, so this is a staple in his diet.

My yellow belly sliders love this food. Have had great luck with my turtles health while feeding them this food. Have tried other cheaper produces from pet store while this was out of stock and my turtles have puffed up and became sluggish and unhealthy looking. My turtles are 15 years old now. As an experienced turtle owner I highly recommend this brand and product.

Red ear sliders will eat only food that is floating in water, and those sticks do. They contain all recommended nutrients to keep your turtle happy and healthy. Package is big enough (recommended feeding amount is the size of the turtle head), to last me many months. Since it it resealable, I do not have to worry about spoilage.
I would definitely recommend purchasing this product if you have one (or more) red ear slider turtles.
