Our big ol' fish love this food.

Most importantly, my fish love it.
Ours are big, healthy koi look-a-like fantail comet goldfish that just rock 'n' roll along peacefully in a 650 gallon pond. We've tried every brand and type of fish food on the market over the past 20 years of ponding and keep coming back to this Tetra floating stick variety. Only when we are feeding them brand/type do ours pop up to surface when they see me coming to feed them breakfast every morning.
We started out nearly 2 decades ago with 4 very small comet goldfish, which immediately had about 30 babies. The happy couple kept breeding and breeding, so we had plenty of recipients for product testing. Luckily, over the years, we found homes for the overage, till we ended up 3 generations later finally breaking up the breeders. At one time, we had @ 80! But all were lovely and healthy, so friends with bigger ponds happily adopted ours in batches. Through each turn, we road tested brands of pond fish food. Some they grudgingly accepted and some they ignored, regardless of season and regardless of number of relatives in the pond. This one is their hands down favorite.

I like these, and more important, my goldfish and koi like them...of course they're always happy to eat just about anything. I only feed my pond pigs every other day or so, usually flakes, but now also these floating sticks. I don't know if they eventually sink because they glom onto them so fast they're all gone in a twinkling.

I only have two Koi and 7 gold fish in my pond but they absolutely love going for these floating sticks. The grand kids have a blast feeding the fish this one pellet at a time. The plastic pail is awesome for long term storage and the lid clicks in place after opening. I simply use this pail as a refill to my smaller Tetra Pond Floating Sticks canister.

I'm not exactly sure how to review this, but the fish are eating it, it doesn't cloud up the pond and this sized bag is a GREAT value compared to prices at the pet store.
