Effective but Stinky

I hadn't come across much discussion about the scent of these products, which made me wonder if it was just a personal experience, but I did notice a distinctive aroma. Additionally, there seems to be a bit of a learning curve in making them adhere properly. However, once you overcome these initial hurdles, they effectively prevent your forehead from moving, and I've observed some subtle improvements. While I can't speak to their long-term effects yet, I'm committed to giving them a fair chance. After all, if they don't exacerbate wrinkles, there's no harm in continuing to use them. I'm eager to see what kind of results I can achieve, so I'll keep using them and provide updates as I go along.
Need to be consistent and give it time

Compared to the pictures that others have submitted, I would say I have more fine lines than deep creases with the lines/creases being slightly noticeable at rest and when I make expressions. I do not have noticeable "11" lines.
I have been using Frownies consistently/daily for 5 months now. I used a bunch of different configurations to find out what best works for my lines. I truly use only one full sheet for the length and width of my forehead. I don't bother separating into squares/triangles. I will notch the long end of the strip for a little curvature at the top of my forehead.
As for my results...I don't believe my forehead is as wrinkle free as it's been when I've gotten botox. But, I do feel like my lines are slightly softer and if anything, they haven't gotten worse in the 5 months that I've been using Frownies. I also use a retinol product on my forehead before apply Frownies.
As a 51yo grandmother, I'm okay with aging slowly and gracefully. IMO, Frownies are definitely not a quick fix especially for deep set wrinkles but for me, I believe they have softened my wrinkles and slowed down their progression. I will continue using Frownies and if I want/need something more drastic, I will invest in more invasive procedures.

I was skeptical but I think they work

I remember seeing these in a Vermont Country Store catalog 25 years ago - wish I'd started then! Actually, no. They're a little bit of an effort and not free -- but I bet I'd have a smooth forehead today.
I have the usual horizontal lines across my forehead that most people get but also have the "11s" by my eyebrows and some weird vertical creases are starting across my forehead too. I was noticing them every morning and freaking out. I don't know if the vertical ones are from frowning in my sleep or from being a side-sleeper and things getting scrunched up from that. I've tried to train myself to sleep on my back but that didn't work.
So I just started using Frownies and - no joke - I wake up with a smooth forehead. There's a significant difference and I'm really a cynical, gimmick-doubting person! I really was shocked it actually worked. Through the course of the day the lines slightly return but not nearly as much as before. I'm trying hard to also stop making faces where I can feel my forehead furrowing so maybe over time things at least won't get worse at quite as fast a pace as they have been.
A lot of reviewers talked about a gross smell. I'm usually sensitive to smells but this smell doesn't bother me. There IS a scent but I don't think it's at all bad and I think it goes away as soon as it dries.
I wish they were a little cheaper but I'm only using one sheet per night so I'll only need a couple of boxes a year I guess.
Oh - getting them off in the morning -- if I'm showering it's no big deal, they get wet for a while then pretty much come right off. But on a day when I'm not showering first thing and just wet them with a washcloth, yeah, it takes a while to get them wet enough or they don't come off easily - you just have to be patient and not rip them off!
If you're on the fence just try a box and see what you think - you don't have much to lose. Besides looking a little goofy. I was really happily surprised.

I've been using these for over a year. I wish I had taken before and after pictures because they have made a huge difference. As a 35/36 year old, I got self conscious about forehead wrinkles. Frownies aren't miracle workers, but the wrinkles are much less visible. Easy to use, comfortable. They stay on all night while I sleep.
The best wrinkle patches

So I have tried these, and the silicone ones from other companies. These are hands down better. I have repurchased repeatedly. I'll try to give a good run down on the difference and how I use them.
For reference, I am 38 and people frequently think I'm younger - I credit my skincare and Frownies for that.
So while the silicone type patches are easier to apply - I come back to Frownies because they work longer and they never slide down my forehead so they work better after serums etc.
I apply these after I've given my serums time to absorb. I've used the rose water spritz from Frownies before, but honestly I usually just put a little water on my finger and apply it to the sticky side. You have to make sure that you get the water on the entire sticky side and give it a few seconds to get tacky. I promise, it won't feel tacky once you press the patch into your skin. They dry nicely in place.
I have a large forehead (or fivehead as I joke lol), so I need several patches to ensure I cover my full forehead. You want to make sure that you cover your full forehead so that the whole thing stays nice and smooth. I don't recommend just doing it in one spot, since the whole point is to keep the entirety of your forehead muscles kind of "frozen" in place overnight.
The silicone type patches are easier to remove, but the results are not anywhere close to as long lasting. To remove the Frownies, I just put a warm wash cloth on them to soften their hold and then start at the outer edges and peel them off. You need to use the warm cloth, because if you just try to rip them off it will hurt. So a warm cloth to soften, and voila!
I used these every night for about a month or so to start, and now I use them 2-3 times a week to maintain the results.
While I haven't needed botox yet, some of my friends use these to help extend the time between botox sessions. I think that if you can't afford botox or simply don't want to use botox, these are the best and only alternative I would recommend!
