as an auto painter for 25 years this is one of the best products i have used. Just be sure to wear gloves and if you get it on anything remove it asap with mineral spirits, lacquer thinner, urethane reduce or gasoline. I have sprayed it out of a gravity feed gun non reduced on a small area and it sprays fine. when applying, dont wait till the next day to recoat. unless you want to sand it. It gets really hard. after 12 hours lacquer thinner wont cut it. if you wait too long the next coat will tend to chip off easier. next coat meaning a second coat of the silver or any of the colors that are available like blackshell.

This stuff is amazing. Easy to use protects great. I am writing this review because I was so impressed. A couple of thoughts.1) Buy a bigger can unless your project is very small. I resurfaced an old Craftsman tool box. The kind with the red tray for sockets. 1/4 pint allowed me to do the box inside and out and 2 coats on the bottom of the box inside and out. That's it. I should have bought a bigger can, That's what I get for being cheap.2) you can't use a foam brush. Must use bristle brush. I wish I had practiced a little first, took a bit to get the knack of application, drys quick going back over it while drying to smooth not a good idea.. I got some runs because of that, back to bigger can again! 3) OH MY GOSH does this stuff stink!!!! I did it outside on a breezy day and still it was overwhelming. I can't imagine doing it inside. Be advised. Also you must wear water proof gloves to use. It is toxic according to the can. I used the same kind I use when I spray pesticides. Great product, best I have ever found for this sort of thing. Used properly it is safe and works like a charm.

I was tired of painting over hot tire pick-up marks and was researching epoxy finishes for our garage when I came across Rust Bullet. I'm so glad I chose this product. The only prep required is cleaning the floor. Rust Bullet goes on fast and sets up fairly quickly but was easy to apply. There were roller marks at first, but after the second coat the surface smoothed out to a consistent sheen. The final finish is hard, durable, and impervious to oils and water. Cleaning our garage floor has never been easier. Rust Bullet may seem expensive for "paint" but it's cheaper than fancy epoxy surfaces, easier and simpler to apply, and the finish is fabulous. Worth every penny. I'd use it again, but the way it's holding up, I may never have to!

Been using this stuff for 10 years... yes it's expensive but it freaking works.

We have a large garage on a 30 year old home. After painting the walls ti was clear we needed to do something with the floor. After looking at just basic paint (would likely have to redo every 2-3 years).. I had researched the epoxy option and was about to pull the trigger on a good product and then I found this. As it had been stated a good compromise between the 2. The floor looks great, we used chips and this product seems very durable. It changed a whole garage! I cannot speak to wear at this point but I am impressed so far/
