This is a wonderful piece of equipment. It handles my 21 qt canner with no problem and controlling the temperature is right up there with gas in my opinion. It is also a dream to cook on. You can cook rice at a slow simmer with no fear of scorching or bring jelly to a rolling boil in no time flat. I am more that happy with it.

Excellent hot plate. Very well made; can fry, boil or simmer without a problem. Only thing I don't like is when you are wiping it off it is easy to bump the on switch without knowing it. Minor issue, just have to watch for it.

I ordered this specifically for use with a pressure canner. I have a glass top range and cannot use the canner on the range. I admit that I was a little skeptical that it would achieve and maintain the necessary heat to keep the pressure up, but it worked great! It does take a while to get to the proper heat but once it does, it does a super job!

I needed a way to pressure cook the vegetables we grow as the hood over my stove was set so low my canner wouldn't fit. I have now canned beans, tomatoes and carrots and this product works wonderfully. We also boiled potatoes in a cast iron pot and it did a great job there as well. My only issues is trying to figure out how to fine tune the temperature setting so it will stay at the pressure level I need.

Product is working very good. Initial heating takes 5 minutes, after that cooking is faster.
Temperature controls are functioning well and cooked food at top temperature for 30 minutes thermostat is good.
Writing this review after using the product for almost 3 months. Wanted to test it thoroughly before giving my verdict.
I have used the cheaper version of coil stoves with plastic boyd in the range of $20 but they didn't last long for long cooking time. Thermostat went off and it was useless.
It is an Excellent product , though bit expensive side. I will definitely recommend this product.
