It's one piece, 14 foot long, not 2 pieces 8 foot long each.
I've called Amazon and asked them to correct the wrong information in the ad copy.
Let's see how long it takes them to do that!

Used this artisticly, so these did not adversely affect my project, but this product did not come in two pieces as described, nor did it have tips.
It was easy to cut with a box cutter.

This stuff couldn't be found locally so I was glad to find it here on Amazon. It is a look that you either love or hate on the side of your vehicle. It pays for itself the first time a shopping cart hits the moulding where it normally would have dented / scratched your car. It sticks well. The hardest part is keeping it straight as you press it to your vehicle.

I used this under my front bumper because my car is so low, to keep it from scraping the paint. Works perfectly, though I wish that when they had to start a new roll of double stick tape on the backing, they didn't overlap, because now that section sticks up slightly from having two layers for about a mm.

I bought this for covering up some scratches on the edge of my Kawasaki Versus 1000 hard bags. The color matches the black plastic of the bags. It can be cut with scissors, and shaped with a file. The supplied adhesive tape is very strong. The only drawback is that the glossy black color is only on the surface. If it gets scratched, it shows up pretty clearly.
