Nice Harness - Large Rabbit
Teryn Ashleigh✓ Verified PurchaseFebruary 20, 2018
I have quite a large cotton tail bunny. We live in an apartment complex so if I'm going to let her out to run around, I needed a harness. She doesn't try to chew this or wiggle out of it. It did take a couple practice outings with it for her to understand that she was free to hop and run while wearing it since at first she just sat there unsure of what to do. Works very well for us.
Too difficult to adjust for skittish rabbits

My rabbit hated this harness. I found it difficult to slip both loops over her. I would recommend one with clasps. its easier to focus on one part of the harness at a time. When I would use this one, I would get one loop on her, but then she would panic before I could finish and nearly get strangled by the second loop.
Great price! Bunny loves it

It takes a bit for the bunny to figure out what is around him, why it is, and to figure out how to hop with it on. When I put it on according to the directions on the back of the card, it seemed like the cord was too tight around the neck, and when I loosened it, the bunny could get out of it. Instead of putting it on as pictures shows, I put it so the harness went through the front legs. Think of a figure eight on the ground in front of you. I placed the bunny's right foot in right side of figure eight and left foot on left side of figure eight. I then loosened and tightened to get it where the plastic piece was between the legs, the tightening click behind ears, and leash between shoulder blades. I also attached a 26 foot retractable dog leash to the loop on the harness. This allowed my bunny to run my backyard, eat grass, and enjoy herself without feeling she was getting yanked from a short leash. Great product. My bunny loves it.
Good value for a one size fits all rabbit leash

This works really well for my 3 lb holland lopper rabbit. He's a pretty docile breed, so he pretty much ignores the leash when I put it on him- no chewing issues. You put it on your rabbit like he's wearing a backpack (note picture), you should get the hang of it pretty easily after a couple tries. I also chose this leash because I didn't want to cover him up too much like the jacket leashes. Best 6 bucks I ever spent, now he can run around my backyard without worrying that he'll escape. I don't have an issue with the length of the leash, but you can always add more rope to it.
Works great

This harness worked pretty well for our bunny. I am not going to say that our bunny loved it, but putting it on him was not as big of a hussle as I thought it would be. One big mistake many bunny owners make is trying to walk their pet like they would a dog. You must follow your bunny, rather than trying to take the lead and walk ahead and expect your bunny to follow. It might take you a couple of tries to effectively secure it on your pet until you adjust the harness just right, but imo it's worth being a bit patient cause as a reward you get to walk with your bunny outside and let it explore in the back yard without the fear of him hopping away.
