Excellent all-around capo and great for playing live

It may not be the perfect capo, but for playing live it will never let you down. I like capos that offer some fine-tune control while playing at home to get the best tone. This isn't adjustable. However, when playing live, you need to know the capo will work without buzzing or having dead strings. This one fills that bill. Clamp it and play with confidence. It also stays out of my way with the low profile over the fretboard. No risk of damaging the guitar, either. There may be capos that have the potential to sound better but this one is reliable and fast, which means a lot in a live setting.
Don't look any further.

A very good and high quality end capo d'astro. Easy to use and store. While playing I just clip it on the top tip of the headstock so I can retrieve it as needed. Arrived on time and exactly as described. You can't go wrong with ordering this for your guitar playing needs. Works on Acoustic, Electric, and Electric/Acoustic guitars.
Great in concert

I have one of these on each of my live guitars. I prefer capos that are smaller for home and studio, since the handle on this capo is kind of ugly Nd obtrusive, ur for live use you can't bwat how easy and reliable this capo is. It's nice that it can be stored on your guitar's headstock.
The benefit of other capos is that you can decide how tight to make it, but this one you can't change it's clamp, it's a really strong grip and if you don't angle it well it can make your guitar be not quite in tune, but it's solid, reliable, and quick to use that it's far better than any others for me in Concert.

I have had this for so long already, about 6 years, and now I got to review it. The capo is a gem, its design and functionality is very good. The thing is tough specially at first, and you want that so that it doesnt get loose as you use it.
When I use this it presses on my strings very well and allows me to play with ease. The capo after 6 years is still tight and functions like new. I love it and it helps me enjoy playing my guitar.
Pros
- lasts forever
- works on both Electric and Acoustic
- design makes it easy to use and adjust
Con
- you dont have it yet. BUY IT now.

Nice capo. A friend recommended it who has been playing for almost ten years. He said Kyser was THE go-to brand for capos. So I trusted him and bought one myself. I really like it overall and find it out be well made. The very minor gripe I have is the fact that it was slightly squeeky straight out of the packaging. I realize this is minor since I will just put a drop of oil in the hinge, and half a drop on where the spring comes into contact with the handle.
On a side note: is there any purpose to the curved end to one of the handles? Also is it just for astheric reasons that it's scalloped on the back of the fretboard jaw?
Anyway great capo! Have a great day and I'm going to get back to learning "You're Beautiful" (by James Blunt).
Peace
