it's a nice dulcimer for the money

Other than the fact that the intonation wasn't accurate, and I had to get a setup to my playing satisfaction, it's a nice dulcimer for the money. A nice ringing clear sound..this 16 fret dulcimer plays accurately to the 12th fret.

Mine came without many, many parts, I was really surprised. The part of the Dulcimer that holds and tunes the strings was completely missing. I had to return it and ended up getting one that was hand carved from ebay which I love. Very disappointed that half a Dulcimer could make it out of the factory with such obvious quality control issues . . .

You would be much better off to go with a clemmer dulcimer the sound quality is not good fretboard is too small and hard to play and the tuners are very low quality
this Dulcimer is great for beginners

I had to take this in to have some of the frets sawed down because the strings had a buzz noise. Other than that, this Dulcimer is great for beginners. It's lightweight so you may have to have a strap adjusted to it to keep from sliding off lap.
