Love these little bongos

Love these little bongos. I use them to work out rhythms, even while lying in bed. They make a nice sound for something so small. Plus, they take up very little room in my tiny work area. At first, I thought they were way too small but now that I am using them regularly I am glad they are compact.

We bought this bongo set for my daughter's 3rd birthday. We expected it to be larger than it was. The sound is muffled when on a table. It would be best on a stand or holding. Also it may sound better with a mallet.

I purchased these for my 18 month old son who LOVES music. I wanted a "real" bongo, not a cheap child's play instrument. He LOVES these, and they fit his hands perfectly with years of use to come. High quality and great sound, without being too loud. We obviously always supervise him while he is using these as they are a real instrument, not a toy. Very pleased.
