Came in perfect condition. I recommend replacing the strings because they'll sound better and they seem to stay in tuner better with the tremolo (whammy) bar. My favorite part it the neck as it is super smooth and doesn't have a tacky feel to it, it allows you to slide your hand up and down on the neck with ease. Bought it to play Rocksmith with and so far it's been amazing guitar to learn on.

Overall great experience. But few minor issues.
The delivery was quick. Opened the box, found this nicely packed Guitar and Amp. The other items - chord, tuner, picks and strap in another packet. All connected to the amp and sounded perfect only on full volume, otherwise there is some noise and distortion in the background - I guess, its normal.

A minor issue with the pickups near the bridge, they were loosely screwed, and were angled a bit towards the strings. I had to screw it a little.
The strap came off occasionally from the bottom and I almost dropped the guitar, then I decided to restrict the openings of the strap with tape.

I spent a lot of time researching the right guitar to learn to play as an adult. This one came highly recommend. The box arrived with most of the top missing - UPS said to contact them if anything was missing. Everything was in the box and was well packed - no damage. The guitar came out of the box ready to play and I followed the DVD instruction on how to tune. I even learned my first cord right away. The guitar is easy to play, feels good in my hands. I've had not issues with the cord that came in the box but I did order another one based on reviews. I also ordered a guitar stand. The amp is perfect for my home use I haven't explored all the sound options yet.

Update - After walking by the guitar in my living room for 6 months I finally moved past my fear of being a beginner and picked it up. I've been following along with YouTube videos and learning how to play blues guitar. I took the guitar to a musician friend and he was very impressed by the out of the box set up and quality of the guitar. I am still using the cord that came with it, no problems to report. This is a great set up for the price.

Amazing guitar. I love it. First electric guitar was a Yamaha, tried a few other brands, came back to this, and could not be happier. It's perfect. Yamaha has made a fan boy out of me.
