I tried the mealy worm method for the Doggy Dooley waste from my two Dalmatians in our West Virginia climate. All 1000 of the mealy worms died. The poop was piling up in the Dooley when I ordered this Waste Terminator powder. It began to work right away and broke up the poop into fluffy stuff once I began adding HOT water (2 gallons from a watering can each day). Now, I'm a believer.

Ok, lots of bad reviews out there. I have a Kennel full of dogs, and I use this in the septic tank. It DOES work. It breaks down the poop faster, and allows the remaining solids to be removed quickly, without poop smell, or the worse decomp smell. The Dooley requires clean out, if you read the directions. Same with septic tanks. Use more if it's not breaking down. You probably have roots blocking the drainage or you didn't install it right. Think of it as a compost pile. There has to be enzyme and bacterial action to break the poo down.
