Slight gap in the finger groove area but not enough to hinder the grip or the guns esthetics in my opinion. Love it!

I inherited a Colt Cobra that seems to be a 1967 model (Serial 23****LW "COBRA MODEL/AIRCREWMAN/COURIER/AGENT & VIPER"). Wooden Colt medallion grips were well worn and uncomfortable.
I noticed that the backstrap on my pre-71 Colt did not extend to the bottom of the grips. Based on some of the reviews here, I realized I was GTG with these grips. They came fast and were in perfect condition. Really improves the point of aim on my Cobra, feels super comfortable in the hands and I am sure when I shoot it, it will absorb the shock of the venerable .32 S&W Long.
Grip is grippy, good looking and rejuvenated my revolver. It is now a very competent carry gun. Thanks to those who asked and answered questions about this grip!

I'm a retired state trooper and a police firearms instructor. I installed this grip on a Colt Detective Special that was made in the 1980's and it fit perfectly! No issues fitting it to the handle whatsoever. This is an excellent grip that will help shrink your groups and control the revolver. I highly recommend it! For those of you trying to fit it to something other than a Detective Special or Diamondback - don't complain when it doesn't fit.

Much better in the hand than the standard Colt grips. (But keep the originals!)

These grips fit my Armscor M206 great. As mentioned in the other reviews, there is a small gap where the seam comes together in the front, but it isn't anything I can feel when holding the gun and it's not big enough for the looks to bother me. You'd have to be pretty picky for it to bother you enough to return the item.
