We use Pachmayr grips on our full-size competition 1911s. The grips increas the grip size slightly providing more room for the support hand and provide and excellent purchase on hot, humid day. I was very pleased to find that the Officer's model grips fit our Springfield EMPs. The EMP is grip is small and a bit slippery; the Pachmayr grips really improve the shooters ability to manage the recoil and keep sights on target.
