I was able to remove and replace a Taurus 2005 power steering pump pulley, but rounded out both sides of the jack screw. The end of the jack screw that contacts the PS shaft rounded such that I had to drill it out in order to get the pulley installed. I emailed them for a replacement, but have not heard from them or seen the replacement yet.
Not as advertised.

This tool did not work for me. The holes did not fit over the bolt heads on my GM fan clutch.
Simple and easy

Okay. I'll admit it; I'm a "Tool Junkie". I bought this because I was swapping out the fan clutch in my '98 GMC Sierra ....a job I'd done on a previous GM truck ...and vowed if I ever again replaced a fan clutch I'd get "the tool". And I *am* a hopeless "junkie". And for less than 20 bucks? I couldn't resist.
This is about as dirt simple a tool as you can get. It allows you to hold the fan stationary while you wack the big wrench you've got on the big nut holding the clutch to the threaded drive on the water pump. The two holes on the bar line up with two of the bolts holding the fan to the clutch. The holes in the bar are big enough to slip over the end of hex bolts or, if you really have a booger of a nut to remove and you want more security in holding the bar to the clutch, you can remove two fan bolts and bolt the bar to the clutch using the fan bolts. You also use this bar to reinstall the new clutch and get the nut tightened a lot better than without.
This tool makes this job so simple and easy.

The clutch on my 1997 Suburban was really tight... I tried using another wrench made to to fit this water pump pulley but it couldn't hold on well enough. OK so I went on YouTube to find an alternative and the W80498 was recommended. I had to use some leverage on the 33mm clutch wrench but I made it work.. Thanks Performance Tools
good tool

98 camry, 4 cyl. This is for cam pulley, not for stuck crank (harmonic balancer) pulley. Cam does not need a lot of power to move. As a tool, this worked perfectly for me.
