It's a great punch for a busy office. Just too much for my needs.
Blades clogged and broke after only a few uses

This only worked for the first three or four times we used it. Then the blades became clogged, and two of them cracked under the pressure of being clogged so tightly. This is a new piece of equipment purchased about two months ago (as of this review) and only used a few times in a low-volume home office. For the high price, I expected a quality product. I will be contacting the manufacturer to see if they will send new blades under warranty. I'm not sure why these would clog so easily with standard laser printer paper under a low load (stacks of fewer than 100 sheets of paper punched a few times over the past two months). I will update the review if the manufacturer solves the problem.

The only thing I'm not thrilled with is it's difficult to tell when you are through all the sheets.
I haven't tried 300 sheets, and don't plan to. Easy to break them up into 50-75 packs.
But it sure beats doing 20 sheets at a time.

Works great! Can cut/drill down through a large stack of paper. Just go slow with it, don't do it quickly. Would buy again for sure.

I ordered this as an exact replacement for a punch that is almost 3 years old and has been great. I gave the product only 2 stars because of Customer Service. My 3 year old punch stopped working. This product states that it has a limited lifetime warranty. This would be great except I have found no way to get the company(Carl Manufacturing) to respond to any type of inquiry. I have tried calling, email and sending a fax over a period of 2 weeks. NO RESPONSE! Great product but warranty is worthless if you can't contact anyone for customer service.
