I have eaten dehydrated morel mushrooms before, and they taste similar to fresh ones. These had no taste at all. They were also sandy and gritty tasting.

The mushrooms weren't too dirty and just a simple soak got ridge of 99% of the dirt. My main issue with the product was the lack of flavor. Morel mushrooms have a very particular smell and taste. These were lacking some of the punch that usually goes with them.
