So far so good. I love the temp adjustment feature too. Well built compared to factory original and other rebuilds out there. I recommend this unit over the others.

Easy to install. Perfect match for our Dometic #2852 RV fridge. Our "eyebrow" panel lights went out, and wouldn't come back on. The fridge had been acting up for a while-- would ONLY work on propane, e.g. Or working on AC intermittently. Finally we had to admit we needed a new rear control board.
After unplugging wiring harnesses from the old unit [attached photo], I carefully labeled each wire w/ a black Sharpie pen: "J1," "J2," "J8" e.g., etc. That helped when installing this new board. Well done, Dinosaur. Instructions are CLEAR. Do research to find OUT if your refrigerator is a "2-way" or a "3-way" model, because the Instructions have an extra step for you if yours is 3-way [ours is 2-way fridge, AC and propane, so we ignored additional instructions for 3-way installation].

Very easy to install as the plugs were all clearly marked and matched the Dometic board in my 2652 fridge. At first, I didn't want to mess with changing the board myself, so many wires, I felt overwhelmed. I was ready to pay someone else good money to do it for me. But I was able to change this board my self with no problems what so ever.
And, this board fixed the problems I was having with my fridge. Isn't that what it all about?

straight forward install and function

product arrived promptly, install was straight forward plug and play. I would recommend both taking a picture of your old unit prior to removal to reference later, and making sure your looking at the correct page of instructions as 2 way and 3 way instructions are included. I replaced this board along with the eyebrow (on/off auto) control panel. fridge dometic rm2652 ( 13 years old) started cooling and working right away. I liked the enhanced features of this board over the stock unit. I'm talking a 4000 mile trip in a couple weeks we will see how it holds up.,,,,,wanted to add to this review (3 -weeks later) finished long trip temps in the 90's and refridgerator performed flawlessly. maintained temp and switched between gas/electric several times with no problems. I am very happy with this purchase.

Installed it in my Dometic fridge and no more "Check" light. Very easy to install. This is the second RV with a Dometic refrigerator that I have had to replace the main board with a Dinosaur P-711. Too bad Dometic can't make a reliable board! They should use these as original equipment.
