EZ/ACCURATE CUTS

I've been successfully using this device for the past six months. Exceptionally easy to use and provides accurate cuts. I'm now making all of my tenon cuts with it.
Overall a decent miter gauge for the price.

Decided to go with this as opposed to the Incra since it cost a bit less and didn't fluctuate as much in cost like the Incra did. Works decently enough. Only thing I wish was they gave you an extra set of the nylon screws to adjust the width of the miter slot. You know those things are going to wear out. Only thing they might improve on is the stop block. When you loosen it up to move it, there is quite a bit of play in it. It would have been easier to adjust the measurements if there was a little less play on the sliding adjuster. Nice track on the front to allow you to bolt on additional piece of wood to make your own jigs for it.

I am not sure about the people that had issues with the vinyl screws. Mine went in with no problem at all. perhaps they used too big of a screw driver? I used one that was small enough to fit inside the screw holes.
It was easy to set up and install. I can't wait for my first project to put it to use.

If you've ever tried using the miter gauges that are sold as part of a table saw package, then you know that they leave a lot to be desired. They're OK when you just want to make a quick cut that doesn't require a lot of accuracy, but if you're shooting for a precise cut, forget it! It's an entirely different story, however, with the Kreg table saw precision miter guage. I was immediately impressed with the precision scales imprinted on the yellow, easy to read background. A brass pin makes it easy to set the guide to preset miter angles; and the long arm makes it easy to hold the stock firmly while making the cut. Cutting multiple pieces to the exact same length is a cinch with the stop on the arm; and I like the fact that the stop is hinged so that it can be lifted, stock slid underneath to make an initial cut and then dropped back in place for the final cut. A great addition to my wood shop!
