Love it!

I bought this to change oil in small engines, which is almost always a mess. And while it works like a champ for that, where it really shines is on my 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. The van has a rather large shield on the under side of the motor, which must be partially removed to access the drain plug. Why do that, when I can just insert this in the dipstick tube and let this badboy suck all that dirty oil up. I drained the entire 5 quarts in about 4 minutes and dispensed it into a recycle container in just about the same amount of time. Best part, no crawling, jacking or mess. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Really like it!

This is great item! I used this to remove engine oil out of a wake board boat. After reading some reviews I was a bit hesitant due to others having out of box issues with their units. I decided to try this with a bucket of water to see if it would suck it up and dispense in case I had those issue. My unit worked flawless. I shoved the tube down the dipstick hole and it sucked the oil out to my satisfaction. I will now use this on my excavator and tractor as well. I love the fact that there are no messy oil pans to contend with.
Niggles:
1. I had to tighten the screw holding the pump handle on as it was loose. - No big deal.
2. I wish it held a little more oil. - No biggie.

3 years later, still loving this

I use one of these to change the transmission fluid on my 2004 Honda Odyssey. Using one of these is so much easier and less messy than getting under the vehicle to drain the fluid and using an awkward funnel to fill it again. Plus there is the $70 in labor I'm saving versus having a mechanic do it.
The downside is that it's difficult to clean and I don't think it's practical to use with several incompatible fluids. Still, I'm very happy with it to the point where I'm thinking of getting another to change the coolant.

Overall a very good evacuator.

This item matches up to its description though thus far I have only used it to evacuate some diesel fuel from a marine tank. It worked effectively.
It seems to be well built from quality materials. Two very slight negatives to me to mention. The directions and manual are limited and could be improved and the draining tubes retain their curled up position and therefore were more difficult to direct around in the twnk I was trying to drain. Overall a very good evacuator.

Really a nice way to do an oil change

Really a nice way to do an oil change, specifically with top mounted oil filter cars. I literally can do the job on my lunch break while in my dress shirt and slacks. The only messy part is removing the old filter.
This tool is primarily helpful in saving time, since I don't have to jack up the car and remove the splash guards/belly pans to drain the oil. As mentioned above, also eliminates most of the mess. Pump the oil stuff into empty containers and drop off back at the local oil disposal place of your choice.
