This was the first time I used a clay bar so I didn't know what to expect. I had this hard black spot on a silver car that was there for 4 years. IT CAME OFF!! And with no apparent damage to the clear coat! I also had little rust specs all over the back of the car from pulling a rusty trailer for years. Those came off too!! Now I can put a good coat of wax and protect the car even further.

I have a white Kia Optima, and the trunk door was very rough to the touch with lots of little dirt specs that seemed impossible to clean. On a cool day, I took my time and used the spray and worked the clay on the paint. It did an amazing job cleaning up!!!! Once i finished, i used a clean micro fiber cloth to wipe off the liquid and it looked like brand new!!!! Super easy and simple!!!

The clay bar system worked magic. I had some kind of small black dots all over my BMW. Someone said they were mold spores from being close to mulch. I don't know it that was what caused these nasty little things to adhere to my car, but they were really hard to get off. The only thing that did it was the clay bar system. It takes some elbow grease but it really cleaned the car up great and after a coat of wax it looked new again.

The included bottle of bar lube is plenty to clay even a large, four door sedan. The two bars of clay are likewise more than enough, provided you manage not to drop pieces (oops!).
The clay picks up a lot of dirt you can't readily see, even on a white car. Texture is sticky enough to do its job, but not so sticky the clay is hard to handle.
Well worth using at least once a year, possibly more often, depending on how hard you want to work.
