Quiet and Easy to Use for First Timer Juicers!!!

This is our first juicer we've purchased and love it. After reading the reviews and asking friends, it seems to be the most purchased and reliable juicer on the market. It's very sturdy, quiet, juices amazingly, and is easy to clean in my opinion compared to the Jack LaLanne thing I borrowed. That juicer is a waste of time and money compared to the Breville 800JEXL. Some reviews stated leaks with the jug, but the one I received is fine. No leaks. No loud noises. No fuss. I do disagree with the fact that you can place whole pieces of fruit into the feed tube though. I had to quarter or half all fruits and veggies to avoid getting stuck in the bottom of the tube. Otherwise, if you're looking for a great juicer for a reasonable price, this is the one to buy!

Bought this becuase i like to have fresh juice, my first week having it was great then after that become messy. The longer i use it the more it messier and half juice end up in the counter and mostly in the bag. Very disapointed for the price i paid for. For that price i expect a better quality. I even tried to order and replace the blade for thinking may be its the one causing it, but no!

If you're not familiar with juicing at this level, be prepared to do a good amount of work. This is not like cutting an orange in half and holding it on a spinning head until it's empty. Just by the look and feel of this machine, you can tell it's made for serious extraction. If you appreciate the resultant product, then it's worth it. But, if you are not ready to devote a significant amount of time to preparing the fruit and cleaning the machine after use, give some thought to whether you really want to invest yourself this deeply into the process.
That said, assuming you know what's involved, I highly recommend this model Breville. It is well-built, powerful, and efficient. It yields a perfect juice with just the right consistency - not too thin and not too thick. The pulp is not thin and watery, indicating that all available liquid has been deposited into the pitcher. The variable-speed motor is a real plus, and adjusts itself during juicing to respond to the operator's feed speed. Documentation is excellent, and the packaging is first-class.
Cleanup is tedious, but all the parts clean nicely if you use warm soapy water and a good rinse. We haven't found it to be so laborious that you need to use a dishwasher, as a thorough cleaning takes about 5-6 minutes. Follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully though - especially with the disk and filter.

This is my first time juicing. I couldn't possibly ask for more. Easy to set up, easy to use, and extremely easy to clean. It seems to suck out as much juice as possible, because what's left inside is completely dry. I have had no issues and I hope it stays that way. So far so good, now it just has to stand the test of time.

Let me start by saying that I am new to juicing and researched juicers for at least a month prior to purchasing. I originally decided on a masticating juicer, but made the mistake of purchasing a lower end model here on Amazon just to have it break after only a few uses. Thankfully, Amazon is great about returns and made the process easy. Now to my opinion of this juicer.
Pros:
Very quick set up and clean up
Sturdy steel parts
Looks great on my counter
Handles large amounts of fruit/vegetables
Large pitcher
Large waste container
Cons:
A bit noisy ( a little louder than a blender)
Foam
Pitcher can't be filled due to placement of cut out for spout
No spout cover to prevent drips while emptying pitcher
Although it does have its cons, I would definitely purchase this juicer again since it meets my family's needs.
