Love it except I could have used a bigger size!

I purchased this milk frother at a discounted price for my home coffee brewing system. This is a great product for the price. My only complaint is that if your wand on your espresso maker is not long enough, you have to be careful of how much you fill this. This is the perfect size for about a 12-16 oz coffee. If you are wanting to make a larger one, you would want to purchase a larger cup to froth your milk in. I love that it is all metal, and the handle is plenty sturdy as well. I usually know when my milk is ready judging by how hot the outside of the cup is. Be careful tho, as it does get extremely hot on the outside and could potentially burn you. I think if it was double-walled this would be prevented, but for the price, its not going to have a double wall. I also love that the pouring spout works amazingly. My last one when I would try and transfer it into my cup, the milk would drip down the front of the milk cup spilling everywhere and wasting away! And this one seems to do a great job of only pouring where you tell it to! The steel material is holding up very well and I have had this for just under a year. The only thing I wish is that I could set it in my espresso maker and walk away while the milk it steaming. This is too short to be able to do that and all my milk would quickly turn to foam. If I had a longer wand I know it would take care of this issue as well. Overall I am very satisfied with this product and would buy it again, just in a bigger size.
Good pitcher, good price

I manage a locally owned coffee shop, and we used this pitcher a lot for 12oz drinks with our single group classe 6 rancillio (it's discontinued now, and I don't think they made very many). We don't use this so much anymore since we've upgraded to a 2 group Appia from Nuova Simonelli, and with a more powerful steam wand it's a lot harder to keep hot milk in the pitcher and not on your hand if you're using it to capacity. It's pretty high quality steel, and a really good product for what you're paying. Sometimes we send this through the dish machine, but it stays clean enough that a quick rinse with soapy water and wiping off with a towel makes it pretty much spotless.
The only reason I rated it one star is because of the size of the spout. Imo, it's definitely too wide to do latte art with. I purchased this and it's 20oz brother after reading some reviews saying they're good for art... they're not. If you're looking to do latte art, I would recommend you go a different route. If you're a home user or at a cafe with a smaller, less powerful machine, and you don't care much about latte art, then this is going to be a good bet for you.

Smaller than you expect, but that's not the seller's fault!

First off, people are giving this a bad review because they think it's too small. That's not the seller's fault. It's supposed to hold 20 oz and it does that. Now I will say, when I first opened it, I thought I had received the wrong size. It LOOKED small! I eyed it and thought "this must be a 12 oz"... but I didn't want to be the jerk who sends it back for being the wrong size when it's indeed what I ordered. So I filled it up with water, and then poured it into a measuring cup, and sure enough, it was TWENTY FLUID OUNCES!
So this leads me to believe that other customers have indeed received the correct size and just didn't realize it's smaller than it sounds.
With that being said, if you want to make two lattes at once with this (about 8-10 oz of milk each), you might be able to if you only use 16 oz of milk, but this does not allow much room for the frother wand and froth expansion. I would err on the side of caution and go with the 30 oz size. However this is great if you only want to make single serving drinks! Or cappuccinos since those require less milk.
The reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is because mine had some small scratches on the inside that appeared to be rusting as soon as water hit them. So I returned the one I received.

It's a metal cup with a pour spout.

I bought this to make Cuban style coffee. It does what it's meant to. It holds sugar and coffee. I have beat this thing to death on the inside with a stainless steel fork over the past month and guess what. It still holds sugar and coffee.
I can see it continuing to do so for MANY MANY years.
If you are looking for a metal cup with a pour spout to hold something like sugar and coffee then this is the utensil for you.
Oh, I did once fill it with gravy for my mashed taters, and it did just fine for that too. Just remember to wash it out before filling it with Sugar and Coffee.

Nice and sturdy

It's a nice cup for frothing but I took a star off because it's smaller than expected and there are no measurements marks on it.
